Description

Description (Service) Provides community based family services which support and enhance the quality of life of the CAF Borden community.

Programs, services and activities include:

Community Integration Program
Provides adult-oriented bilingual, community responsive programming that emphasizes choice and empowerment. Services and activities offer a number of alternatives including information, resources and support to enhance the capacity of individuals and families to successfully integrate into the community.

  • Employment and Education Assistance
Family Support Program
Provides education and support services to promote family cohesion and resilience. The Family Support Program promotes the health and wellbeing of families by offering the following services:
  • Emergency Family Care Assistance
  • Family Separation and Reunion
  • Prevention and Intervention
  • Veteran Family Services
Children and Youth Program
Offers a wide range of programs for children and youth youth zero (0) to eighteen (18) years. Services are designed to accommodate a variety of community needs, facilitate child/youth development and provide support, information and resources to parents and care providers within the community.
Programs include:
  • Parent-Child Services
  • Youth Services
  • Parenting Support Services
Child Care Program
Offers a wide range of services for children 0 months to 5 years of age.

Eligibility Consumers of service include Canadian Armed Forces members and their immediate families; DND civilian employees and their immediate families; others who provide direct support to the CAF and other consumers on a space availability basis.
