Description (Service)

Meeting Space Rentals are available at the Barrie Public Library Downtown branch and at the Barrie Public Library Painswick branch.

Downtown branch: 60 Worsley St. Angus Ross Program Room

  • can accommodate up to 50 people, depending on the desired layout
  • computer with large mounted media screen available for public use
  • includes sink
  • no storage space available
  • paid parking Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm, free parking evenings and weekends

Painswick branch: 48 Dean Ave. Massie Family Community Room

  • can accommodate up to 60 people, depending on the desired layout
  • includes sink and screen
  • library owned audio-visual equipment including laptops and projectors are not available to users of the meeting room
  • no storage space available
  • free parking

Book a Study Space: 60 Worsley St. Three spaces that can be booked up to 7 days in advance for a maximum of two hours, and can accommodate up to 10 people. Include computer with large mounted media screen available for public use

Need a place to work or study? There are many spaces available on a drop-in basis at all locations.
