Description (Service) Local genealogical researchers have access via computer to the library resources based in Salt Lake City through FamilySearch.org
  • have computer access to International Genealogical Index for Canada, US and Great Britain, Germany, Spain, France, Netherlands, Yugoslavia, and Denmark as well as on CD-ROM
  • have 2000 version of the Family Search Compact Disk collection including Scottish Church Records on CD-ROM, 1880 United States Census on CD-ROM, 1881 British Census on CD-ROM, 1881 Canadian Census on CD-ROM and Acadia-Cajun Family Trees
  • have Vital Record Index for Western Europe (Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy and Spain), Scandinavia, British Isles and Australian Vital Records on CD-ROM
  • access to Pedigree Resource File with Index which is individually submitted family pedigrees from all countries worldwide
  • have a referral service to the Ontario Genealogical Society
  • have Heritage Quest - heritagequestonline.com which contains Census Records, Books, PERSI, Revolutionary War records, Freedman's Bank Records, US Serial Set
Members of the public can access free family search and online databases at Ancestry.com, Find My Past, My Heritage, and some others, at The Family History Centre. The Centre has a microfilm/fiche reader printer for making copies.
