Description

Description (Service) Drivers 80 years of age and over must renew their licence every two years. They will receive a renewal notice and must contact MTO Scheduling Office as soon as possible to schedule an appointment for tests and a group education session (renewal notice mailed approximately 90 days before licence expires).

In order to renew, the following will need to be completed: a vision test, a 45 minute interactive group education session, an in-class screening exercise, and a driving record review and if necessary, a road test and/or medical information. Once the renewal requirements are complete, the driver's licence must be renewed at a ServiceOntario Centre.
