Elected for a four-year term and accountable for the operation of the school system

• constituents may contact their trustee to raise issues of concern regarding the education system
• 8 trustees elected for Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board, see website for current Trustees, the area they represent and contact information
• chair and vice-chair elected annually at the first meeting of the Board, usually held in the first week of December, and serve a one-year term of office

Trustee Meetings: normally held every third Wed 7 pm, call or check website to confirm meeting dates

• Canadian citizen, 18 yrs or older, resident within the jurisdiction of the Board
• Roman Catholic
• Supporter of the board , not an employee of any district school board or school authority in Ontario

• Active Parish member with regular mass attendance
• Full-time Roman Catholic Student in grade 11 or 12 with regular school attendance
• Provide confirmation of support from school principal, parent/guardian and Parish Priest
