Regular Service
Provincial remedial measures program for convicted impaired drivers or drivers with two or more roadside suspensions
  • information, registration, assessment, education, treatment groups and follow-up interviews as required
  • participants should register a week (7 days) after the impaired conviction or roadside suspensions, it may take up to 11 months to complete all parts of the Back on Track program
  • administered by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario and offered by community service providers in a variety of locations across the province
  • in York Region, Simcoe County and Muskoka region it is offered in Aurora, Barrie, Bracebridge and Parry Sound respectively

Eligibility
  • Individuals who have been convicted of impaired driving, or who have two or more roadside suspensions in the past 10 years
  • completion of program is mandatory before driver's licence can be reinstated

  • Call, email or visit website for information, no walk-in service
  • registration form can be completed online or downloaded
  • participants must register after receiving conviction and pay full registration fee before commencing program
  • participants should register a week (7 days) after the impaired conviction or roadside suspensions, it may take up to 11 months to complete all parts of the Back on Track program
