Ovarian Cancer Canada champions the health and well-being of women with ovarian cancer and others at risk of this disease by

  • advocating for and advancing research to develop new treatment options and improve health outcomes
  • Supporting women and families affected by ovarian cancer 

 The Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope in Barrie is held at the South Shore Centre on Lakeshore Dr, Barrie annually in September. Information available at www.ovariancancerwalkofhope.ca

Print Material Various resources available for the general public and also women and their family members who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. OVDialogue is an online support community for those diagnosed with ovarian cancer
Volunteer Description Volunteers help raise awareness about ovarian cancer through advocacy. Volunteers can help plan the annual Walk of Hope in Barrie. Under the guidance of Ovarian Cancer Canada staff, Walk volunteer committees design, implement and host their community walks. This opportunity is great for individuals who are dedicated, enjoy planning events, want to gain leadership experience and meet new people in their community.
