Description
Description (Service) | Apply for direct Catch Up Payments to get $200 to $250 to help pay for student learning supports to help fill gaps that may have emerged because of COVID‑19. As a parent or guardian, you can use this one-time funding for things that best suit your child’s needs like tutoring services, supplies and equipment. This payment will not be treated as income by the provinical government. This means it will not affect OW or ODSP eligibility or payment amounts.

Eligibility | You are eligible to apply if you live in Ontario and are a:
Students of Adult and Continuing Education programs for individuals over 18 years of age are not eligible. |
Application | Online: Create a profile and apply at www.ontario.ca/page/catch-up-payments#section-1 Only one parent or guardian may apply for each child. Submit a separate application for each one. You will need the following information for each child:
After you apply you will get a confirmation email 1 – 5 business days after you apply. It will include your confirmation number. Check your junk mail folder if you do not see the confirmation email. It can take a few weeks. The fastest way to get payment is by Interac e-transfer. You will get a separate payment for each child that you apply for. If you do not give all the information the form asks for or if some of it is wrong, your payment may be delayed, or you may not get the money. |
