Health Connection is staffed by nurses and public health inspectors to provide community health information and advice and to connect residents with community programs and services

  • Prenatal Classes and Parenting Programs

  • Breastfeeding and Child Nutrition 

  • Quit Smoking Workshops 

  • Common illnesses and infections 

  • Dental Health Clinics  

  • Sexual Health Clinics  

  • Injury Prevention Programs  

  • Well water testing 

  • Inspections for safe food and water 

  • Community-based strategies to support physical activity, healthy eating, sun safety and healthy built environments  

  • Public Health standards enforcement  

Main office located in Barrie, with satellite offices in Collingwood, Cookstown, Midland, Orillia Gravenhurst and Huntsville
