Description (Service)


A long-term residential rehabilitation treatment centre for men with a substance dependence and concurrent disorders.

Programs for participants:

  • individual and group counseling
  • concurrent disorder / substance abuse education classes
  • smoking cessation (Nicotine Replacement Therapy provided free of charge)
  • relapse prevention classes
  • client care plan based on client needs
  • continuing care
  • AA and NA meetings on site
  • Methadone/Suboxone accepted

Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up Must have a valid OHIP card. Men with substance use dependency, but detoxed a minimum of 72 hours before intake. Must be physically and mentally stable to participate in the group and class settings and all components of the program.

Application Referrals can be made by self, family, family doctor, referral agency, clergy, and withdrawal management agencies. Intake worker must have direct contact and interview from the person in need of help. Applications can be sent out if requested.
