Description

Description (Service) Team consists of Clinical Multifaith Chaplains who are Registered Psychotherapists (RP) and a Traditional Medewiwin Healer:
  • Team members are available to patients, staff and their families on request to address the complex issues faced by those affected by mental illness
  • Individuals may self-refer or request support through their doctor, nurse, or other staff person
  • is committed to providing quality spiritual and psychological care that is person-centred, recovery-focused, trauma-informed and clinically sound
  • is active in providing Traumatic Incident Support and ethics consultation throughout the facility and in providing education in the areas of self-care, grief, therapeutic boundaries, DBT, CBT, and conflict resolution, among others.
