Volunteers can assist with a variety of activities and programs including:  

• Special events and Entertainment
• Community Bus Outings  
• Friendly visits
• Small Group Programs (cards, reading, knitting)
• Special Interest Presentations
• In home Wellness appointment portering
• On call Palliative Visits 

*Currently looking for one volunteer to help digitize our song books (Nov 17, 2025)

• assist with client based activities such as arts and crafts, meal times
• assist with special events and programs
• Café assistance serving food, clearing tables etc.
• physical maintenance of the residence and landscape

Frontline Roles:

• Day, afternoon, evening shifts
• Tasks: Helping with dishes, filling up the coffee station, general cleaning, making kits, preparing bed and take down

Bingo Roles:

• Representing Busby at Delta Bingo
• Cleaning tables and screens
• Serving food

Student help:

• With guardian assistance that has been certified, students can help by making sandwiches.
