It's time to update your organization's information

Information Barrie is a program of the Barrie Public Library. It is a free community information and referral service, connecting people and services.

All listed organizations and programs are contacted at least annually to update their information, and Resource Specialists continually monitor news and social media for changes and additions to services.

Information Barrie, together with other data partner agencies, maintains the community resources for 211 Ontario’s Central East region:
Community Connection;
Information Orillia;
Community Reach North Simcoe;
Contact South Simcoe;
Victoria County Career Services;
Northumberland United Way; and
Perth Huron United Way.

211 Ontario’s Resource Specialists work closely with community data partners across the province to manage an Ontario-wide, comprehensive inventory of 60,000+ community, social, health and government services.

211 is a free, 24/7, multilingual helpline staffed by Community Navigators who connect people with community, social, health and government services. Visit 211.ca

211 Ontario’s Community Navigators use the inventory to identify available resources for residents in need of information or assistance.

211 Ontario’s community resources are available to other human services organizations and the public at 211Ontario.ca, as well as through many custom online directories.
