Retirement and Enhanced Care Assisted Living residence for Older Adults

  • Transitional home for residents waiting for their long term care placement
  • accommodation options include private, semi-private or ward
  • residence includes 2 lounges, dining room, bathing rooms, non-denominational chapel/reflection room, recreation room, TV room, emergency call bells, sprinklers in all rooms, security system
  • Services include:
    • all meals/snacks, a full activities and fitness program, housekeeping
    • 24 hr wellness supervision, visiting doctor, special diets and medication administration
    • palliative care/end of life care when needed
    • mechanical lift
    • beauty salon/aesthetic services, foot care nurse

Volunteer Description Volunteers ages 16 years and up for visiting seniors on a one-on-one basis, taking residents out for walks, also helping with weekly social events (e.g., bingo, exercise classes, dances, etc.), and special events throughout the year
