Description (Service)

Offered in a variety of communities in Simcoe County and District of Muskoka.

A Public Health Nurse will provide a variety of supports to help parents raise healthy children, including:

Health Connection

  • answers questions about healthy growth and development, child behaviour, safety and more

Healthy Babies Healthy Children Program

  • for pregnant individuals and families with children newborn until transition to school (see separate record)

Breastfeeding Support Groups

  • breastfeeding support groups at community locations and online (see separate records)
