Description

Description (Service) House League and Competitive Rep teams for boys and girls from 8 years through 18 years of age
  • Competitive team tryouts held in September of each year
  • registration for selected players takes place in October
  • Rep team coaches are NCCP certified to Ontario Basketball age appropriate standards
  • Rep team exhibition games are officiated by members of the Barrie and District Basketball Officials board

Governed by volunteer board of directors, affiliated with Ontario Basketball (OBA) and a franchise member of Juel Ontario
Volunteer Description Basketball Ontario volunteer screening standards are enforced and Competitive Team coaches must have specific National Coaching Certification (NCCP) according to the age category coached * coaches and team managers must submit to a current "Police Record Check" * volunteers for game score keeping are welcome and student Community Service Hours are acknowledged
