Description (Service)

Presented to a maximum of three youths (Youth Spirit Catcher Award) and a maximum of three adults (Order of the Spirit Catcher Award) annually

  • awarded to individuals who have volunteered selflessly and have made a significant contribution to the lifestyle of the community and have benefited others and brought honour to the City of Barrie through exceptional achievement
  • nominees must be residents of the City of Barrie
  • check City of Barrie Awards to confirm the annual deadline for nominations
  • presentations take place in November

Eligibility
  • Must be a resident of the City of Barrie
  • Nominees for the Youth Spirit Catcher Award must be between the ages of 12-18
  • Nominees for the Order of the Spirit Catcher Award must be 19 yrs or older
Application

Nomination packages can be picked up at the Legislative and Court Services Department for completion, or downloaded from the City of Barrie website, all submissions will be evaluated by the Order of the Spirit Catcher Committee
