Description (Service)

Creation of the Canadian Jazz and Blues Hall of Fame will provide the opportunity to present the Canadian heritage of the Jazz and Blues art form to the nation 

  • portray, through artistic and interactive installations, the life and work of its many creators
  • serve as an archival resource to students, educators and scholars
  • recognize the sacrifice, devotion, creative accomplishments and legacy of Canadian artists who identified and shaped a  
    Canadian voice in Jazz and Blues music all over the world  
  • a physical hall has not yet been located, organizers are looking at several locations within the City to house photographs, plaques and artifacts such as original manuscripts
  • traveling exhibit may also visit communities across the country
  • registered not for profit organization, in the process of becoming a registered charitable organization
