Description (Service)

Associated with the Navy League of Canada, Barrie Branch, teaches:

  • self respect
  • respect for others
  • self discipline
  • leadership in a naval framework
  • sailing and seamanship
  • Tag Days held in May and September
Volunteer Description Men and women over the age of 18 needed to volunteer time as:
  • a fundraiser
  • a civilian instructor
Knowledge of seamanship, compass, knots and lashes or drill is an asset but not necessary, requires a few hours per week
