Description (Service)

Eight week program that offers people of all ages and disabilities a chance to experience skiing and snowboarding.

Offered with the help of volunteer instructors at Heights of Horseshoe, Snow Valley and Horseshoe Resort

Volunteer Description Volunteers needed to assist with instruction
  • must be 14 years of age and up
  • each centre provides volunteer training which includes dry-land training and on-hill training
  • contact centre for training schedule and for dates of volunteer orientation day, volunteer contact for each location listed on website
  • volunteers will be required to provide Police background check, contact hill coordinator for request letter

Hours Hours of program vary, but volunteers should be available from 9 am-4 pm. One day per weekend per week Jan-Feb.
