| Public Comments | Owen Street Road Closure: Mon Feb 24th to July 2025 Owen St will be closed from north of Dunlop St to Collier St including the full closure of the Collier St intersection. No vehicles will be permitted to travel through the closure. Local access to businesses will remain open with detours in place via Mulcaster St, Worsley St and Clapperton St. Click here for more details. Mary Street Road Closure: to July 31, 2025 Mary St between Dunlop St W and approximately 60 meters south of Dunlop St W (Barrie Bus Terminal Lane-way). The full road closure is required to perform works related to construction of a mixed-use, high-rise development. Access for residents & businesses within the closure to be maintained and emergency services will have access to respond within the closure, but not to travel through it. |

Visit Service Barrie Online to submit detailed service requests, report a pothole and other concerns, receive real-time updates, and be notified when a service issue has been resolved. In addition, citizens can now apply directly online for pre-approved payment plans and more. Additional services will be added regularly. A new chatbot on Barrie.ca allows users to effortlessly interact with it to find information 24/7, providing an alternative to navigating through multiple web-pages or contacting customer service. |
