Description

Description (Service) Supports adults (18 years of age and older) with developmental disabilities who are living independently or planning to live independently within their chosen community
  • voluntary program where services are offered according to individual needs and goals and may include assistance with seeking accommodation, budget counseling, short-term emotional support or respite care services
  • provide assistance in accessing and coordinating all necessary and available community services
  • provide ongoing case management
  • Adult Protective Service Worker services are provided through local offices in Alliston, Barrie, Collingwood, Midland and Orillia
Adult Protective Service Worker Resource Days
  • hosted by appointment once per month in Barrie, Alliston, Collingwood, Orillia, and Midland
  • during each appointment, a Catulpa staff member will answer questions that individuals and families may have about the program and offer relevant resources and information
  • adults (18 years of age and older), family members, and allies are welcome to attend
