Description (Service)

Networking group representing health and social services organizations, both private and public, who support older adults in the Barrie area

Goals are:

  • to foster communication and information sharing between providers in the seniors' service sector
  • to share information so that member organizations are informed of programs, services, accommodations and supports available to older adults in the community
  • to build an understanding among Barrie area seniors and their loved ones of how to access these services

Eligibility
  • Open to health and social services organizations or individuals or groups regardless of funding source, whose main goal is to support seniors in the Barrie area
  • members are encouraged to attend at least 2 meetings in a calendar year or send a replacement from their organization if they cannot attend a meeting
