Description

Description (Service) Christmas Programs include Christmas Assistance for families in need over the holiday season and annual Christmas Kettle Campaign to help raise funds for a variety of programs and services offered throughout the year

Christmas Assistance Program
  • Last minute assistance for families who have missed the Christmas Cheer deadline and are not already receiving Christmas assistance from another organization
  • Families will receive some toys for children and food items for a Christmas dinner e.g. turkey, potatoes, canned vegetables etc.
Christmas Kettle Campaign
  • Fundraising effort that occurs each year during the Christmas season
  • Volunteers are needed to man kettles at a variety of locations around Barrie
  • Kettle Campaign helps support the various programs and services offered at the Barrie Bayside Mission Centre throughout the year
Volunteer Description Adults, ages 16 and up. Volunteers needed for annual Christmas Kettle fundraising campaign and for Santa Shuffle Fun Run/Walk.
