Description (Service)

Services for children, adults, couples and families include:

  • Individual, Couple, Child, and Family Counselling: Specialized support for relationships, parenting, and personal well-being
  • Therapeutic Approaches: therapists are trained in evidence-based modalities including but not limited to; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Mindfulness practices
  • Culturally Inclusive & Diverse Care: welcome individuals from all cultural backgrounds, faiths, gender identities, and sexual orientations
  • Indigenous Healing Approaches: team includes professionals who integrate Indigenous healing methods, including holistic practices, empowerment techniques, and strengths-based approaches
  • Multilingual Services: Counselling is available in multiple languages, including German, French, Cantonese, Yoruba and English
  • Flexible & Accessible Support:
    • In-person sessions available at three locations: Barrie, Orillia, and Newmarket
    • Virtual sessions available 7 days a week
    • Affordable options, including a sliding scale fee, are available through their student practicum program to support individuals facing financial hardship or who may not have access to benefits
