Description
Description (Service) | The Direct Funding Attendant Care Services Program is a provincial program which provides monthly funds for adults with a disability to hire an attendant of their own choosing to assist with activities of daily living. Allows individuals to schedule attendant services around their own schedule; enabling adults with physical disabilities to become employers of their own attendants. Attendants assist with routine activities of living, such as dressing, grooming and bathing. Assistance providing to people living in the Simcoe, Bruce and Grey Counties in the application process for funding to self-manage their own attendant care services. |
