Description (Service)

Maple Syrup festival held at the end of March each year

  • educational activities, live historical demonstrations showing how local Indigenous People, the Huron-Wendat, traditionally welcomed spring
  • Visit the Sugar Shack to see how sap is turned into maple syrup
  • Warm up by an open fire, roast Bannock on a stick, play pioneer games
  • Visit the Birds of Prey Field to see owls, hawks, and eagle
  • Explore forested trails or head out on the boardwalk to see the marsh stir to life after a long winter's nap
  • Purchase local honey and maple syrup
