Description (Service)

The weekend is full of Scottish entertainment * individual competitions * parade of pipes and drums * Scottish dancing * crafts * a festival pub * vendor booths.  
 
Orillia tartan material available at Legion for purchase 
 
Takes place at Couchiching Beach Park.
Volunteer Description Volunteers needed to help with setting up venues throughout the festival. Volunteers needed to help with tag days and distribution of buttons.

Fri 8 pm - Scottish Ceilidh, Pipe Band Performance (Ticketed Event) 
 
Sat 8:30 am - 10 am - Craft and Vendor Booths open * 12 noon - Parade of Pipes and Drums (down Mississaga St., along Centennial Drive, into Couchciching Beach Park) * 1:15 pm - Opening Ceremonies, Massed Pipes and drums, Scottish Country Dancers * 1:30 pm - Children's Village * 2 pm - Scottish Entertainment  
 
Sun 2 pm - Royal Canadian Legion Branch 34 Scottish Entertainment, Highland Dancers (Members, Signed in Guests and Public Welcome)

Fees Admission - $2 button ; Buttons can be purchased in advance at the Orillia Farmer's Market prior to the festival as well as during the opening parade. Call for more information.
