Duties | Your role is to offer one-on-one accepting, non-judgmental listening presence at one of our partner sites throughout the community. Shifts are 1.5 - 2 hours long. We have spaces at some of our partner sites such as Downtown Library, Painswick Library, Busby Centre, Elizabeth Fry Society, Breakfast to Go, Lucy's Place, CMHA, or seniors residences. |

Benefits | Access training in deep listening to develop you ability to listen in your own personal, work and community roles. Ongoing monthly listening practice and learning sessions. Connection and community with other like-minded people who want to build a more caring community through full-hearted listening. |
Clients | Community people who may simply need to be heard. Depending on the location they may be lonely, homeless, dealing with poverty or substance use disorder, people needing someone who will value and accept them as they are without trying to fix, advise or correct them. |
